Help Us Help Some Felines
|
Bex NJ loves cats and we want to help them avoid suffering the life of a feral, outdoor cat. Even in the small community where we live there are dozens of stray cats running around. We do our best to help them by feeding them, getting the females fixed, having the sick and suffering ones euthanized, but the costs really add up quick. Our plan is to build a feline sanctuary where we live but we really need some bank to do it right. So right now our front porch is serving as the local cat infirmary, but if you love cats and want to help out please go to our purr.bexnj.com page to donate a few bucks. Cool?

Help Us Kick out Off-Worlders

I'm not sure where the author of this website got his/her information but it is pretty much dead-on correct (with the exception of a detail here or there). I mean did anyone REALLY think we were alone out here in space??? Our galaxy (and universe) is swarming with life forms and they all have to compete for the same resources to survive. Humans just so happen to be the new kids on the block in this area of the galaxy so we are getting picked on in just the same way that bullies used to take your lunch money from you as a kid. Anyway, this site gives the 411 on what is really going on.

Help Us Rock You!
|
Odds are, if a band puts out guitar-based tunes with a good melody, then we like it. Our 2 decades of musical choice are the `70s and the `90s. The 70s for it`s all out pop-goodness and the 90`s for heartfelt, emotional jams. Music is spiritual, music is universal, music is life...

Here are some of our musical influences:
Smashing Pumpkins - Awesome guitars and sad tunes w/ hummable melodies
Nirvana - I don't think anything else needs to be said here...
Radiohead - First 3 albums are transcendent
The Pixies - If you like The Pixies then you and I can be friends
Local H - Tight rythms and catchy tunes - rock pretty hard for 2 guys
Queens Of The Stone Age - Really creative arrangements and timings
Alice In Chains - Jerry Cantrell really knows his way around a fretboard
